Valentine's Day at Disney: The History of Disney and Hallmark

Today we are sharing two early Minnie Mouse Valentine’s Day cards from the Hall Brothers (Hallmark), dating back to 1935-1937. The first cards started with our favorite characters, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, but later included other favored characters such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pluto and the irascible Donald Duck.

Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade: A Disney Tradition

Donald Duck Encourages You to Vote in this Rare 1970s Video

In honor of Election Day, we bring you this extremely rare film from The Walt Disney Archives. Made in the 1970s, the video features Donald Duck going to his local polling place to cast his vote.

Disneyland used to create public service videos and distribute them to television stations. Some — like this one — served as a fun reminder encouraging people to vote while promoting our parks and characters.
