Bull’s eye! The Disney Parks Blog revealed the latest Disney Dream Portrait earlier this week, which features Academy Award-nominated actress Jessica Chastain as Merida from Disney•Pixar’s "Brave." Created by photographer Annie Leibovitz, the portrait is entitled "Where your destiny awaits” and can be seen in the February issue of "O – The Oprah Magazine."

Disney Adds New Domestic Box Office Record to Global, International Records

On December 14, The Walt Disney Studios set another company box office record, reaching a new all-time high at the domestic box office, breaking our previous record of $1.547 billion set in 2012. This completes a trifecta of records for the Studio, which has already surpassed all previous years at both the international and global box office. This is the first year, in fact, that we’ve reached the $4 billion threshold globally.

With Marvel’s Thor: The Dark World breaking $100 million at the domestic box office and already taking in more than $365 million worldwide, we have a lot to celebrate this week, including a new studio record. Disney Passes $2 Billion at the International Box Office

As summer winds down, 2013 is shaping up to be Disney’s biggest year ever at the international box office. We passed the $2 billion mark on August 22, setting a “personal best”—it’s the fastest we’ve reached that mark within a calendar year, and it’s also the fourth consecutive year we’ve surpassed this threshold.
