Disney Interactive Unveils 'Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes (2.0 Edition)'

This morning, at a special event in Hollywood, California, Disney Interactive President Jimmy Pitaro joined Marvel Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada, Marvel’s "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." actor Clark Gregg and Disney Infinity’s John Blackburn and John Vignocchi to unveil "Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes". The new game is the super-powered sequel to last year’s No. 1 best-selling new hybrid toy/video game according to the NPD Group’s video games retail sales data. To date "Disney Infinity" has sold more than three million starter packs and reached more than $500 million in gross U.S. retail sales.

New Songs and Features Revealed for 'Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved'

Last year we gave fans a first look at the upcoming musical motion game "Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved" at E3, along with another special preview that allowed them to try their hand at the new game at the D23 Expo last August. Earlier this week, we announced three new details about "Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved"—available for Xbox One and Kinect for Xbox 360 later this year.

Behind the Scenes of Disney's 'Blank: A Vinylmation Love Story'

It’s a classic love story. Boy meets girl. Boy falls in love with girl, and they live happily ever after. But that’s where the similarity ends. "Blank: A Vinylmation Love Story," our latest original stop-motion animated film, follows that timeless story arc... with a captivating, yet unconventional twist. Especially because the stars of the film look a bit different than your average cast of actors. At three inches tall and made of vinyl, Blank—an unpainted outcast from a colorful, vibrant land—finds himself on a quest that alters his destiny while searching for his lost soulmate, Bow. We recently caught up with Matt Wyatt, creative director, Disney Interactive, to hear about the development process of "Blank: A Vinylmation Love Story." Since it’s world premiere last month on Google Play, thousands of people around the world have viewed the film.

Disney and Google Premiere 'Blank: A Vinylmation Love Story' Short Film Available Exclusively on Google Play

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Disney Interactive and Google are teaming up to launch “Blank: A Vinylmation Love Story,” an original animated short film. The film will be available exclusively on Google Play, Google’s online store offering digital movies, books, music, apps, games and more. Viewers will also find a digital Valentine’s experience as well as additional video clips and the "Love Theme" song from the film.

'Disney Infinity' Scores a Touchdown with Three Million Starter Packs Sold and "Big Game" Downloadable Toy Box

Since launching last year, "Disney Infinity," the video game that allows players to create their own adventures by mixing and matching Disney and Pixar characters in a virtual Toy Box, continues to earn rave reviews from fans around the world and has already sold more than three million starter packs globally. The video game proved to be a hit during the holiday buying season and appeared on the top 10 list of best-selling games for 2013, according to NPD, a market research firm that tracks retail sales.
