"Into the Woods" is a humorous and heartfelt musical that follows the classic tales of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Rapunzel—all tied together by an original story involving a baker and his wife, their wish to begin a family and their interaction with the witch who has put a curse on them. The film—starring Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, James Corden, Anna Kendrick and Chris Pine—hits theaters December 25, 2014. Check out an all-new trailer above.

Disney Theatrical's "Get Up and Go" Features Dance Tutorial From Broadway's 'Newsies'

You can “Seize the Day” in more ways than one with a new dance tutorial from Disney’s hit Broadway musical "Newsies." The video, which debuted in mid-July, is part of Disney Theatrical’s new “Get Up and Go” Wellness Program and proves you don’t need to be on a Broadway stage to practice your fancy footwork and get fit. It features easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions for some of the show’s spectacular Tony® Award-winning choreography by Christopher Gattelli.

Disney News This Week: 'Newsies' Celebrates Second Anniversary, ESPN Earns 46 Sports Emmy Nominations, Big Thunder Mountain Re-Opens at Disneyland and More

"Newsies," the Tony® Award-winning "Critics' Pick" originally announced for 101 performances in 2012 and now approaching its 900th performance, celebrates two years on Broadway tomorrow, March 29, at the Nederlander Theatre. Since bursting onto Broadway, "Newsies" has set and broken seven Nederlander Theatre house records on its way to becoming the highest grossing show of the 2011-12 Broadway season. The show received 23 major theatrical nominations—including eight Tony Award nods—and won Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for Score and Choreography.

But did you know that more than 70 million people around the globe have seen a performance of Disney’s The Lion King? 'Peter and the Starcatcher' Stays Green on Stage

One person’s trash is another person’s Tony® Award—especially for scenic designer Donyale Werle and costume designer Paloma Young. The "Peter and the Starcatcher" creative duo received 2012 Tony Awards for their inspired work on the vibrantly original Disney Theatrical Group production, in which they repurposed discarded objects and rubbish to create a magical, environmentally friendly ambiance.
