Today, Disneyland Paris enters a bold new chapter with the opening of World of Frozen and the unveiling of its reimagined second park, now renamed Disney Adventure World. This landmark transformation represents one of the most ambitious expansions in the resort’s history, offering guests fully immersive worlds inspired by stories from Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios and Marvel.
At the heart of this new experience lies Adventure Way, a vibrant promenade designed as a gateway to exploration, featuring landscaped gardens, entertainment and new dining experiences, as well as Raiponce Tangled Spin, a family attraction inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Tangled.
Adventure Way leads to Adventure Bay, a breathtaking central lake that anchors the park and hosts the all-new nighttime spectacular, Disney Cascade of Lights. Beyond it rises the expansion’s centerpiece, World of Frozen, a fully immersive land transporting guests into the kingdom of Arendelle.
Opening day began with a heartfelt moment as children from Make-A-Wish and their families became the first guests to step into Adventure Way, reflecting Disneyland Paris’ long-standing commitment to creating joy for those who need it most.
This milestone follows a spectacular inauguration ceremony held the previous evening.
During the ceremony, Natacha Rafalski, Présidente of Disneyland Paris, said: “With Disney Adventure World, we’re not only unveiling a reimagined second gate at Disneyland Paris; we’re opening the door to a new era. An era where our guests walk straight into the heart of the stories they love.”
“We continue to expand Disneyland Paris with ambition and purpose,” Thomas Mazloum, Chairman of Disney Experiences, said. “The reimagining of our second gate reflects the very best of what Disney represents: boundless imagination that brings people together.”
“Few stories have resonated with fans around the world like Frozen,” said Josh D’Amaro, Chief Executive Officer, The Walt Disney Company. “From the screen to our parks, cruises, and beyond, its impact continues to grow, and with World of Frozen and Disney Adventure World, we’re giving guests at Disneyland Paris the opportunity to experience that story in entirely new ways.”
The ceremony featured a special musical performance celebrating Disney Animation’s Frozen, highlighted by a moving duet between a young Make-A-Wish child and French-American singer Santa. The moment was enhanced by the appearance of Olaf, brought to life through cutting-edge robotic technology developed by Walt Disney Imagineering, and marked the 25,000th wish granted at Disneyland Paris since 1992.
The celebration drew international attention, welcoming celebrities including renowned French designer Christian Louboutin, acclaimed actress Léa Seydoux, French actor Lucas Bravo, cinema icon Isabelle Huppert, and world-renowned football champion Olivier Giroud.
With Disney Adventure World and World of Frozen, Disneyland Paris reaffirms its position as Europe’s leading tourist destination, continuing to innovate and deliver unforgettable experiences for guests from around the world.

A Celebration in Arendelle is presented several times daily. Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff and the villagers appear aboard majestic boats, illuminating the bay through Elsa’s power. Brand-new music was specially composed for this celebration by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, the Academy Award®-winning songwriters behind the Frozen films. Olaf, the lovable snowman from Frozen, comes to life in this show made possible by a next-generation robotic character created by Walt Disney Imagineering Research & Development, in close collaboration with Disney Live Entertainment and Walt Disney Animation Studios.
Throughout the day, guests may encounter beloved characters such as Oaken or Mossie, the adorable baby troll, with occasional surprise appearances from Olaf adding to the experience.
For a culinary break, guests can have lunch or dinner at Nordic Crowns Tavern and enjoy the warm and welcoming spirit of Arendelle. This restaurant, whose decor traces the history of the kingdom and its royal family through galleries of paintings and many decorative objects, offers Nordic-inspired cuisine, frosty desserts, as well as vegan and gluten-free options.
Guests can take home souvenirs at Arendelle Boutique and Fjord View Shop, which offer Frozen merchandise alongside exclusive creations inspired by Scandinavian craftsmanship. Visitors can also send a Snowflower Festival postcard from the village mailbox located beside Arendelle Boutique.
ADVENTURE BAY: A MAJESTIC 7.5-ACRE LAKE
At Disney Adventure World, the immersive lands, World of Frozen, Marvel Avengers Campus, and Worlds of Pixar, are arranged around Adventure Bay, the beating heart of the park’s expansion. This central lake offers breathtaking vistas, and its shores, extending from Adventure Way, come alive during the day with unforgettable character experiences.
At the West Pavilion, inspired by early 20th-century architecture, guests can meet Mickey Mouse dressed in his new Victorian outfit. Beginning this summer, guests will also be invited to share adventures with some Disney Princess Characters during a Disney Princess Cavalcade including 4 parade floats, celebrating the courage and determination of each Princess as she follows her dreams.
At nightfall, the lake transforms into a dazzling open-air stage for Disney Cascade of Lights. The very first daily nighttime spectacular of the second park invites guests to step into the story and embrace their own heroic journey, inspired by Disney Animation’s Moana, Mulan, Hercules, and Zootopia, Disney and Pixar’s Up, and stories from the Marvel Universe. Never before have guests been so close to magic. The spectacular staging features drones, flames, water screens, fountains, projections and pyrotechnics in a uniquely immersive configuration. With more than 380 drones, including world-exclusive aquatic drones and, in the near future, for the first time at Disneyland® Paris, synchronized mobile fountains that can move across the water with jets rising over 18 meters high, the show pushes the boundaries of innovation. The powerful soundtrack includes reimagined Disney classics, and an original anthem created especially for the show: “We Can Be Heroes.”
ADVENTURE WAY: THE NEW MAIN AVENUE OF DISNEY ADVENTURE WORLD
Adventure Way links World Premiere Plaza and its theatrical shows to the park’s immersive lands, this new main avenue features the brand-new family attraction Raiponce Tangled Spin, inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios film Tangled. It brings to life one of the film’s most iconic moments: the Lantern Festival. Accompanied by the legendary music from the film, including “I See the Light,” guests twirl in sculpted gondolas within décors retracing Rapunzel’s adventures, immersed in the romantic atmosphere of the Festival.

The Regal View Lounge, the very first lounge located inside either of the two Disneyland Paris parks, offers views over the lake and World of Frozen, and serves royal kir cocktails made with Disneyland Paris Special Edition Champagne from Maison Pierre Mignon, fruity seasonal cocktails with non-alcoholic alternatives and an exclusive snacking offer. To complete the offering, La Terrasse Panoramique serves bread bowls and New York Rolls. Café Luminosity introduces an original hot dog concept complemented by a sweet offering of cinnamon rolls. Three kiosks, five chalets and several mobile carts line the promenade, offering a wide variety of food and beverage options.
Guests can enjoy these takeaway delights while strolling through themed gardens celebrating some of Disney Animation’s and Pixar’s most beloved stories, such as the Tangled Garden or Toy Story Garden with its oversized popsicle-stick benches. At The Gazebo Garden, guests can relax in an English-inspired garden setting, where seasonal entertainment will evolve throughout the year, beginning this spring with Musical Moment with Rapunzel and Flynn.
The Disney Marching Band, a lively musical parade led by Minnie Mouse and her 12 musicians, energizes Adventure Way with pop and contemporary renditions of Disney, Pixar and Marvel songs, adding a festive touch to this already magical promenade.
