Serving as the digital gateway for all things Disney, our team built a magical online entertainment destination for the next generation of Guests. The new site will transform the way Disney fans watch, play, create and discover Disney online.

The new Disney.com was designed to be a clean, elegant and easy-to-navigate experience, unifying Disney content from across the company. It was built using Responsive Design technology, a modern web development technique that ensures a rich and consistent experience across platforms and devices, including personal computers, tablets and smartphones.

Now families and fans have a simpler way to access their favorite and newly discovered Disney content.

The team responsible for building the site knew that the next generation of Disney fans would visit via mobile phones and tablets, so they built Disney.com to seamlessly adapt to the ever-expanding world of devices.

In fact, the new look and feel you see on Disney.com today was first introduced in May as part of the Video Portal beta, which made Disney videos accessible from any device. Since launch, the engagement on the new site is up significantly compared to the legacy platform, and Guests who visit via smartphones are spending nearly 50 percent more time on the site compared to desktop users.

Beyond the new design and technology, the team also invested in new channels to entertain people of all ages. The site delivers custom content and Disney video from across the company, including live Disney Channel programming via TV+ and YouTube on Disney, all in an effort to create the premier online family video experience. And this week, Disney.com is hosting an exclusive clip of Disney’s highly anticipated movie Frankenweenie which hits theaters on October 5.

Disney.com is a new digital destination, where kids and families, and all Disney enthusiasts, can experience the same magic and delight as they do when visiting a Disney park or watching a Disney movie.
