Summer is in full swing, and there’s no better time to get outside… and make a difference.
This season, Disney—in collaboration with Youth Service America—is calling on young change-makers, ages 5–18, who are making lasting, positive changes in their communities and neighborhoods to apply for a Summer of Service Award. Through Disney Friends for Change, winners will receive a $1,000 award to support their projects or initiatives.
Whether these young leaders are collecting books for their local library or raising funds and awareness for a cause they are passionate about, Disney is committed to recognizing these types of positive actions and partnering with kids and families to create a brighter tomorrow. So if you know a young change-maker on your block or in your community, encourage them to visit YSA.org/BeInspired and apply for a Summer of Service Award by July 31.
