Disney landed in the top spot on Cohn & Wolfe’s “Authentic 100,” a list of the highest-ranking brands in the world based on consumer perception of authenticity.
The rankings were formed from the global communications and public relations agency’s study, which surveyed more than 12,000 consumers from 14 markets on over 1,600 brands. Companies were rated against seven attributes of authenticity, and consumers’ perception of whether a brand is “reliable, respectful and real” was analyzed as well.
Disney’s position as one of the world’s leading producers and providers of entertainment and information continues to be been confirmed by accolades such as this one, along with recognitions that named Disney as a “Most Admired” and “Most Reputable” company, and one of the world’s most powerful brands.
