Tuesday is Mardi Gras in New Orleans but – come this summer – it will be Mardi Gras every day when Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.
Following the events of the beloved Walt Disney Animation Studios 2009 film The Princess and the Frog, this new attraction “digs a little deeper” into the story of Princess Tiana.
At Tiana’s Bayou Adventure the princess will be joined by a whole boatful of new friends to light up the bayou with music and magic. Guests will float through the cypress trees and Spanish moss on their way towards a stomach-swooping 50-foot drop that ends with a refreshing wave of water.
Fans can expect to see some familiar faces as part of the dozens of entirely new Audio-Animatronics figures created by Disney’s world-famous Imagineers.

As guests make their way through the attraction, there will be new, original music alongside favorite tunes from the film, created in collaboration with award-winning artists PJ Morton and Terence Blanchard.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure welcomes back voice talents reprising their roles from the film, including Bruno Campos as Prince Naveen, Jenifer Lewis as Mama Odie, Michael Leon Wooley as Louis and the one and only Anika Noni Rose as Princess Tiana.
The heart of Tiana’s story reminds guests that everyone has the potential to make their dreams a reality. With teams of Imagineers, Disney Animation artists, Cast Members and Louisiana artisans working together, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is sure to pass a good time when it opens at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida in summer 2024 and later in 2024 at Disneyland Park in California.
