Today, The Walt Disney Company unveiled key creative elements of Shanghai Disneyland, including its six themed lands filled with world-class attractions and live entertainment spectaculars.
Today at the Shanghai Expo Centre, Disney chairman and CEO Bob Iger unveiled a spectacular scale model of mainland China’s first Disney theme park. Shanghai Disneyland’s six themed lands—Fantasyland, Treasure Cove, Adventure Isle, Tomorrowland, Mickey Avenue and Gardens of Imagination—will extend the 60-year legacy of Disney Parks around the globe. With the magic of Disney storytelling, Shanghai Disneyland will celebrate China’s rich heritage and culture to create an experience that is both authentically Disney and distinctly Chinese.
