Today we thought we’d highlight, or more appropriately shine the moonlight, on one of the most anticipated employee events at The Walt Disney Company.
Tonight, Cast Members get to show how much “Disney” they know in the form of a special trivia-based Q&A session followed by a two-hour scavenger hunt. This epic adventure, known as Minnie’s Moonlit Madness, is an annual event hosted at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California.
Employees from around the company can assemble a group of four co-workers, family or friends for a night filled with clues, mysteries, math, puzzles and, of course, madness! And similar to any traditional challenge, there’s also a time limit and a special catch: Each team must attempt to complete 10 assignments (one at a time) by midnight… while tied together by rope!
From answering mind boggling multiple-choice questions to solving riddles throughout the scavenger hunt, or even learning a brand new dance routine to get the next assignment, Minnie’s Moonlit Madness has become a must-attend employee event for the past 24 years.
Although the end-goal is to win the competition and medal, employees also give back to a nonprofit organization with their Minnie’s Moonlit Madness entry fee. This year, all proceeds from the exciting evening will be donated to Orange County’s Pacific Symphony, making this event the ultimate fun-draiser!
