Disneyland Paris Shares Latest Updates about its Unprecedented Transformation

Disneyland Paris just celebrated its 33rd anniversary! To mark the occasion, the place where dreams come true unveiled never-before-seen images and new details about its overall unprecedented transformation. The resort’s second park is undergoing a major expansion and embracing a fresh creative vision. And when its new World of Frozen themed area opens in 2026, the park that has long been known as Walt Disney Studios will be renamed Disney Adventure World!

Opening of World Premiere on May 15 — The Gateway to the Existing and Future Immersive Worlds at Disney Adventure World

Called Studio 1 since the creation of Walt Disney Studios Park in 2002, this space has undergone a retheming, evolving from a place that used to offer a behind-the-scenes insight into the magic of movie-making to World Premiere, a unique spot that will transport guests to the heart of a glamorous Hollywood film premiere beginning May 15 The exclusive décor, refurbished spaces, and brand-new storyline will immerse guests of all ages in an authentic Hollywood boulevard, recognizable by its palm trees, varied architectural styles, iconic stars on the ground, and nods to its famous movie theaters. At World Premiere, an array of experiences will await guests, including The Hollywood Gardens Restaurant, an all-new dining spot that will serve delicious quick service options. A range of snacks and hot and cold drinks will also be available to take away from the Searchlight kiosk. For those who fancy a bit of shopping, Mickey’s of Hollywood Boutique is a must-visit, inspired by the classic American department stores of the 1920s. Once outside the building, guests will arrive in the heart of World Premiere Plaza, a vibrant area that brings together several theaters, including Studio Theater, Studio D and Animagique Theater, where many shows celebrating Disney Animation and Pixar stories are performed every day. Then, they will be able to discover fully immersive worlds, placing them into the heart of their favorite Disney, Marvel, and Pixar stories.

“As our second gate continues its transformation, we are proud to be unveiling the next milestone with the opening of World Premiere in a few weeks. As part of the 2-billion-euro investment plan announced in 2018, we continue to reinvent this park with a fresh creative vision. At the end of its expansion journey — which includes the opening ofAdventure Way, Adventure Bay, and World of Frozen in 2026, and later an immersive world themed to The Lion King — we’ll have reimagined more than 90% of the park’s offerings since its debut in 2002, and roughly doubled its footprint to truly become a can’t-miss experience!” said Natacha Rafalski, Présidente of Disneyland Paris.

Opening of World of Frozen and Launch of a Unique Nighttime Show Above the New Central Lake

While the brand-new themed area entirely dedicated to Disney Animation’s Frozen is progressively coming into view, the finishing touches are being added to the North Mountain, which rises 36 meters above the ground! Set to open in 2026, World of Frozen will immerse guests in the heart of the Kingdom of Arendelle. In addition to being home to an all-new attraction that will bring guests on a journey alongside Anna and Elsa, this must-visit area will offer immersive shopping and dining experiences as well as the opportunity to meet the beloved sisters in person during an unforgettable royal encounter.

Additionally, an all-new breathtaking nighttime spectacular will debut on the central lake and above. The banks along Adventure Bay and The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge will be the perfect spots to admire the awe-inspiring combination of water screens, fountains, special effects, and innovative drone choreography that will come to life at night. The entertainment teams at Disneyland Paris have already started conducting tests in preparation for this groundbreaking experience.

Adventure Way, the Promenade Celebrating Disney and Pixar Stories in the Heart of a Lush Landscape, Will Welcome a New Family Attraction Inspired by Up

“Adventure is out there!” This famous quote from Disney-Pixar’s Up will soon resonate with Disney Adventure World guests as they board a flying carousel that will spin in the air, offering a bird’s-eye view of the park’s stunning scenery. Blending the charm of family attractions with the colorful world of Up*, this new experience will mark the first time an attraction inspired by this beloved film is coming to a Disney Park. It will be located across from Raiponce Tangled Spin, another attraction that is already being brought to life in the heart of Adventure Way. The construction of this new family attraction celebrating Up and its themed garden will begin by the end of 2025, bringing the family- friendly experiences offered at Adventure Way to new heights after the opening of World of Frozen!

Featuring themed gardens inspired by Disney Animation’s Tangled and Pixar’s Toy Story, Adventure Way has been dreamed up as a crossroads between the front of the park — which is notably made up of Marvel Avengers Campus and Worlds of Pixar — and the future immersive areas inspired by Frozen and The Lion King. In this timeless place, guests will be able to unwind and daydream before diving into immersive journeys to the heart of Disney stories.

Adventure Way will also be home to The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge, a stylish restaurant where guests will not only be able to meet Disney Princesses but also watch the breathtaking new nighttime spectacular that will light up the new Adventure Bay central lake at night.

The Ambitious Transformation of Disney Hotels Continues with Disney Sequoia Lodge and Disney Davy Crockett Ranch

Disney Sequoia Lodge to Receive a Major Makeover Starting in 2026

After the grand reopening of Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel in 2021 (561 rooms) and the unveiling of the royally reimagined Disneyland Hotel in 2024 (487 rooms), Disneyland Paris reveals the next ambitious transformation of another Disney Hotel – the iconic Disney Sequoia Lodge, and its 1,010 rooms.

Starting in 2026, major refurbishment work will be carried out to enhance and elevate the experience offered at Disney Sequoia Lodge, a unique getaway celebrating nature in the heart of a verdant setting filled with pine trees and sequoias on the shore of Lake Disney. The structure of interior spaces will be reimagined from floor to ceiling, paving the way for a fresh look characterized by greater brightness and a touch of modernity. The design will pay homage to the beauty of nature while taking inspiration from the forests following the tradition started by Walt Disney and his team of animators. Every space, from the rooms to the lobby, as well as the shopping and dining locations, will be reinvented as an ode to wildlife, offering the perfect environment to unwind and let one’s mind wander.

This transformation will also be marked by the development of the hotel’s theming of landscape and forest animals: the nods to the classic Disney Animation film Bambi that can be currently found in rooms will evolve towards a broader theme that will celebrate many Disney Characters from classic and recent movies who live in the forest. They will be subtly incorporated into the different experiences offered at the hotel by leveraging a thoughtful creative approach. Respect for nature and sustainability will also be reflected in the construction materials, which have been carefully selected to minimize the environmental impact of Disney Sequoia Lodge refurbishment work. The hotel will remain open during the refurbishment work, which will start in 2026 and will be carried out in phases.

A Comprehensive Upgrade of Bungalow Experience Offered at Disney Davy Crockett Ranch, a Haven of Peace in the Heart of Nature

The transformation of Disney Hotels continues at Disney Davy Crockett Ranch, where 584 bungalows are gradually being replaced with a new theme, to provide a modern and comfortable experience for guests, while continuing to be a haven of peace in the heart of a natural setting ideally located a few minutes’ drive away from Disney Parks. Interior decorations will be inspired by the adventures of beloved Disney Characters, such as Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, together with the Junior Woodchucks. The first set of new bungalows will be available for booking starting June 12, for stays beginning after the 2025 summer vacation.

An Array of New Experiences in a Reimagined Disney Village Setting

Located at the crossroads between the two Disney parks and Disney Hotels, Disney Village continues its major transformation journey to offer new shopping and dining experiences in a modern setting. Two new shops, Disney Glamour and Disney Style, have recently opened their doors to guests, offering a selection of ready-to-wear clothing, fashion accessories and articles created through collaborations. Retail offerings will reach new heights on April 19, with the opening of a LEGO Store reimagined from the inside out, and Deco by Disney, a shop dedicated to homeware, interior decoration, and Disney collectible items which will notably showcase a selection of products exclusively available at Disney Village

These new shops aim to offer a warm and modern experience infused with touches of Disney magic. All of these novelties will further enhance the appeal of this must-visit destination for Disney shopping enthusiasts, which will continue to reinvent itself in 2025 and beyond: Disney Store will close its doors in Fall 2025 to become Disney Wonders, a reimagined shop that will welcome all major Disney franchises under one roof.

Dining experiences are also being reimagined. This spring, Brasserie Rosalie — which has delighted guests’ taste buds with traditional French fare since late 2023 — will welcome guests to its new terrace bordering Lake Disney. Called Petite Rosalie, this outdoor terrace area will offer a selection of food options specially crafted for sunny days, including snacks and a variety of drinks and desserts. Sports Bar & Lounge will also reopen in the fall with an all-new design, a greater seating capacity and a new menu, while 2026 will mark the opening of a state-of-the-art McDonald’s restaurant boasting unique architecture, in addition to Casa Giulia. Operated by Bertrand Hospitality, this three-story Italian restaurant will be a go-to spot for those craving delicious specialties!
