Anytime our Chairman and CEO, Bob Iger, takes the stage to share an update on Disney’s strategic direction I can’t help but tune in to hear his comments. Just this past Thursday at the Fortune Global Forum in Chengdu, China, Bob shared some unique insight into where Disney is headed, the company’s place in the global economy and his overall outlook on business — particularly business in China.
Bob was joined by Burberry CEO Angela Ahrendts and Chairman of the Dalian Wanda Group — a Chinese company with interests that include commercial properties, a department store chain and luxury hotels — to discuss culture and economics. Bob’s participation as a panelist comes just as he’s been elected vice chair of the U.S.-China Business Council, an influential nonprofit consisting of about 230 American companies that do business with China.

During Bob’s trip to China, he also had an opportunity to sit down with CCTV2 (Chinese Business Network) to talk about Disney and China. Check out the news clip below.
