Disney Wins 25 Children and Family Emmy® Awards

The 3rd Annual Children and Family Emmy® Awards took place on Saturday, March 15, where The Walt Disney Company took home 25 wins across 20th Television, Disney Branded Television, Lucasfilm Ltd., National Geographic, Walt Disney Animation Studios, and platforms Disney+ and Hulu — with 18 of those wins for Disney Branded Television, the most for any industry group. With eight wins, Percy Jackson and the Olympians was the most-awarded series of the night.

Not only did Percy Jackson and the Olympians lead The Walt Disney Company’s wins for the night, receiving the Emmy for Outstanding Children’s or Young Teen Animated Series, but Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur won the Emmy for OutstandingChildren’s or Young Teen Animated Series and Once Upon a Studio received the Emmy for Outstanding Short Form Animated Program.

Longtime Disney Branded Television executives Susette Hsiung, EVP of Studio Production and Network Programming Operations, and Steven Vincent, SVP of Music and Soundtracks, were also inducted into the prestigious National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences’ Silver Circle, which honors individuals with 25 years of significant contributions to children’s entertainment, recognizing their achievements, leadership, mentorship, and impact on the industry.
