An action-packed new trailer for Disney’s Jungle Cruise, starring Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt, debuted this morning. Inspired by the famous Disneyland theme park ride, the film is an adventure-filled, Amazon jungle expedition, with Johnson playing the charismatic riverboat captain and Blunt a determined explorer on a research mission. Edgar Ramirez and Jack Whitehall also star, with Jesse Plemons and Paul Giamatti.
Jungle Cruise is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra. John Fox, Dwayne Johnson, Hiram Garcia, Dany Garcia and Beau Flynn produce; Doug Merrifield serves as executive producer. The film opens in U.S. theaters on July 24, 2020.
