At Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, each of our cast members around the world plays an important role in making magic for our guests. Much of the experience in the parks depends on our cast. Some work onstage in roles that interact directly with guests, while others are busy backstage supporting the magic from behind-the-scenes. As a cast member, I see first-hand the difference everyone who works at a Disney destination makes in a family’s vacation.
At our parks and resorts around the world, we take a closer look at some of these jobs through a special video series, and I’d like to share some of the stories with you.
First up, the costuming team at Disneyland Resort. Regardless of where you are in a Disney park — from Adventureland to Tomorrowland — cast members are dressed for the show. Even though the costuming team works backstage, they manage more than 800 different costumes and are a critical part of the experience enjoyed by thousands of guests each day.
Keep an eye out for more of these behind the scenes videos on Disney Post.
