Today, guests at Hong Kong Disneyland can step into the mysterious and adventure-filled world of the park’s newest land, Mystic Point. The area marks the final chapter of the current expansion project at Hong Kong Disneyland, along with Toy Story Land and Grizzly Gulch, that effectively increases the size of the park by nearly 25 percent.
I’m here at Hong Kong Disneyland now and I’m amazed at all Mystic Point has to offer, from diverse dining to unique merchandise and even specific photo locations. It is sure to provide guests with even more ways to make Disney memories at Hong Kong Disneyland.
And at the heart of it all is Mystic Manor, an E-ticket attraction in the form of a Victorian mansion and private museum owned by Lord Henry Mystic. In his travels, this eccentric explorer has combed the world for one-of-a-kind treasures and ancient artifacts. Visitors can tour the Manor via the “Mystic Magneto-Electric Carriage” – one of the most advanced ride systems ever created at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts – to see more than 7,000 riches and relics, all brought to life by a very special music box (and a very mischievous monkey).
What’s more, the trek is set to a soundtrack by legendary composer Danny Elfman. It’s quickly become one of my new favorite attractions and I hope you all have the chance to experience it!
Hats off to our Imagineers and all of our Cast Members at Hong Kong Disneyland on this fantastic new addition!
