Jack Yellin is Associate General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for the Company. He started at Disney in 1990 as Senior Counsel in the litigation department, and was appointed as Senior Vice President in 2001. He assumed his present title in 2011. In his current role, he heads Disney’s Global Ethics and Compliance Management Group, which sets the business and ethical standards for the Company’s 200,000 employees worldwide, and directs the Company’s global compliance program.
Before coming to Disney, Mr. Yellin was a litigation attorney at Simpson Thacher and Bartlett in New York City, where he was a general litigator. He earned a Juris Doctor degree (summa cum laude) at Santa Clara University School of Law and Master of Laws degree from the University of California at Berkeley School of Law. He received his bachelor’s degree (magna cum laude) from Brooklyn College, and also received a doctoral degree in business ethics from Spertus College.
