Disney Cruise Line Offering New Destinations in 2015

Today, Disney Cruise Line announced their Summer 2015 itineraries, including a new course for northern Europe exploring the Norwegian fjords, Iceland and the Farhoe Islands for the first time. The summer itineraries will also include a return to the Baltic with sailings from Copenhagen, Denmark to St. Petersburg, Russia, as well as cruises to the Mediterranean, Alaska, Caribbean and Bahamas.

Disney to Acquire Maker Studios, the Leading Network of Online Video Content

Furthering its goal of bringing content to consumers on all the platforms they prefer, The Walt Disney Company has agreed to acquire Maker Studios, the leading network of online video content on YouTube. Maker Studios shareholders will receive total consideration of $500 million, and a performance-linked earn-out of up to $450 million if the strong performance targets are met.
