Disney Employee Profile: Spotlight on a Disney Beginnings Host

For many new Disney employees, their first day at The Walt Disney Company involves a visit to The Walt Disney Studios lot in Burbank, California, so they can take part in the Disney Beginnings orientation program. Although their Disney stories will take them to diverse parts of the Company, these new employees will always have one thing in common: a warm—and enlightening—welcome to The Walt Disney Company. Bill Hart, one of the Disney Beginnings facilitators, spends an entire day familiarizing new hires with the Disney heritage, organization, brands and culture.

"Into the Woods" is a humorous and heartfelt musical that follows the classic tales of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Rapunzel—all tied together by an original story involving a baker and his wife, their wish to begin a family and their interaction with the witch who has put a curse on them. The film—starring Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, James Corden, Anna Kendrick and Chris Pine—hits theaters December 25, 2014. Check out an all-new trailer above.

Disney Supports Boys & Girls Clubs of America's Great Futures Campaign

Back-to-school season kicks off in just a couple of weeks, but Disney got a little head start today. As the Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) unveiled their Great Futures campaign on "Good Morning America," Disney joined the organization and supported its day of events, which included a nationwide backpack stuffing challenge. Disney Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Jay Rasulo, who is a BGCA board member, was also present to launch the campaign.

Disney Junior and Chelsea Clinton Promote Youth Service
