Disney Television Animation Celebrates 30 Years of Creativity

In November 1984, Walt Disney Television Animation (DTVA) was established to bring high-quality, Disney-branded entertainment to the small screen. Thirty years—and more than 60 series—later, DTVA offers a broad lineup of shows that ranges from "Sofia the First" and "Jake and the Never Land Pirates," whose classic Disney characters entertain and inspire preschoolers via the Disney Junior programming block and channel; to "Phineas and Ferb" and "Gravity Falls," two series on the Disney XD network that are unequivocal hits among kids and adults alike.

Disney Donates $1 Million to Hispanic Scholarship Fund to Support Young Leaders

Higher education is important for success in the 21st century. Students will transform tomorrow and shape our collective future. That’s why Disney is proud to support these young dreamers. This past Saturday, a $1 million donation from The Walt Disney Company to the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) was announced, kicking off a three-year agreement that will create The Walt Disney Company-HSF Scholarship Program. With this generous support, Disney and HSF will provide deserving students with the opportunity of a college education.

Disney Named One of the World's Most InDemand Employers by LinkedIn

Disney was recently announced one of North America’s Most InDemand Employers by LinkedIn, and now, it turns out that the global workforce also looks to Disney for career opportunities. After analyzing billions of interactions from its more than 300 million members, LinkedIn named The Walt Disney Company as one of the World’s Most InDemand Employers of 2014. The annual list recognizes 100 of the world’s most sought-after companies and evaluates LinkedIn member actions like viewing employee profiles, along with visiting and following companies’ LinkedIn pages. Disney landed at No. 14 this year—moving up three spots from 2013.
