Congratulations to the Winners of Marvel’s 'Ant-Man' Micro-Tech Challenge

Moviegoers will have the microscopic on their minds this weekend when Marvel’s Ant-Man opens nationwide on Friday, July 17. Disney and Marvel Studios recently challenged girls age 14–18 to think big—or, more literally, small—as part of the Ant-Man Micro-Tech Challenge, co-sponsored by Dolby Laboratories, Visa Signature and Raspberry Pi.

Disney and Marvel Join Forces with Child Life Council to Produce New Custom Comic Book for Hospital Care Packages

The Avengers are not only saving the day in their comic book stories, they are also bringing comfort and joy to hundreds of children in hospitals across the United States. In honor of Compassion Month, Disney and Marvel teamed up with Child Life Council (CLC) to develop a limited-edition comic book for young patients in an effort to provide entertainment and normalcy during their hospital stay. The story—developed by fan-favorite writer Jim Zub and penciler Wellinton Alves, among others—features Avengers Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, Captain America and Falcon as they assemble to battle alien invader Fin Fang Foom. These mighty Super Heroes show readers that anything is possible with teamwork.

Technology's Role in Disney Animation's 'Big Hero 6'

Fighting an evil villain and saving the day are probably not very high on an average teenager’s daily to-do list. But for robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, star of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ upcoming animated feature Big Hero 6, those tasks just happen to pop up on a typical weekday.
