Announcing Disney Springs at Walt Disney World Resort

Earlier today, Tom Staggs, chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, announced plans for Disney Springs, a multi-year transformation of Downtown Disney at Walt Disney World Resort.

Disney Springs will be a unique destination with significantly more shopping, dining and entertainment amid four outdoor neighborhoods interconnected by a flowing spring and vibrant lakefront. The expansion is expected to create new jobs and have a positive impact on the local economy with new opportunities for businesses in the area. Read more on the Disney Parks Blog.

Disney Unveils Vision for Disney Springs — Along with an eclectic and contemporary mix from Disney and other noteworthy brands, Disney Springs, as shown in this conceptual rendering, will feature a new gateway with a signature water tower and grand entry.
